Pretty Lights to Host Two Day Festival at the Gorge this Summer
Pretty Lights (Derek Vincent Smith) has always marched to the beat of his own drum. The eclectic music producer has embraced a path that few have ever traveled before. Between remixing a variety of classic rock acts to using a live band in his performances, Pretty Lights has always gone against the status quo in the world of electronic music.
Over the course of his career, Pretty Lights has become fond of hosting his own events and showcasing a wide variety of talent to his fan base. Last year, Smith debuted a series of events he called the “Episodic Festival Tour.” He held five of these events over the course of 2016. Due to the overwhelming success of the tour, Smith has decided to up the ante with another event this summer. He has announced that he will host a two day festival on August 4th-5th at the legendary Gorge Amphitheater (located in George, WA).
The festival will be called “Pretty Lights Live. Season 2 premiere, Episode 6.” The event will be headlined by Smith and he will be accompanied by his live band. They will perform both nights of the festival. Other acts slated to perform at the festival include STS9, Atmosphere, Cherub and many others. The entire line up will be listed below. Tickets and accommodations will be available for pre-sale tomorrow at 12 PM PST via Pretty Light’s website. These pre-sale tickets will be “direct to fan” with general admission and camping passes going on sale April 6th at 10 AM PST.
Fans are encouraged to join the mailing list to receive a pass code for the pre-sale tickets. Considering the venue and what he has done in the past with his live shows, this is an event that is a can’t miss for die hard fans of Pretty Lights.
