Flux Pavilion and Turin Brakes Release Third Collaboration, “I Will Stay” – EDM.com
“I Will Stay” is out now on Flux Pavilion’s imprint, Circus Records.
Two of the most influential British acts, Flux Pavilion (real name Joshua Steele) and the four-member indie rock band Turin Brakes, have teamed up once again to drop their third collaborative track, “I Will Stay.” It’s out now on Circus Records.
Few artists can sustain the massive success both of these acts have seen in the last decade. On their eighth studio album, Turin Brakes (comprised of Olly Knights, Gale Paridjanian, Rob Allum and Eddie Myer) have proven that authenticity and consistency create for timeless works of art. Following that same note, Steele, who first began performing in 2008, has remained one of EDM’s most successful producers, still being featured as a headliner for festivals worldwide.
The two acts first began working together in 2013. Turin Brakes first collaboration with the EDM goliath, ”Mountains and Molehills,” was featured on Steele’s 2013 EP, Freeway. Realizing their talents together, the men regrouped for a follow-up to their hit collaboration in 2017 with “Cut Me Out.” The song garnered the attention of millions and was later followed by a six-track remix package. Time and time again these two acts together show that their combined talents create for incomparable writing and production.
“I Will Stay” is no exception. The track features compelling sound design from the talents of Steele with euphoric vocals delivered by Turin Brakes. “I Will Stay” is their longest collaboration to date, clocking in at just under seven minutes.
“One of my favorite drops I’ve ever done,” Steele wrote to Twitter in regards to the track. “Reckon this new album should be by ‘Prophet 6 featuring Flux Pavilion’.”
Turin Brakes are embarking on an all-acoustic tour of the United Kingdom from now until March of next year. For all ticketing and tour information, visit here.
